Your Brain Is a Gateway To Health

Your brain is made up of billions of neurons, forming your nervous system, shaping how you think, feel, and experience life.

Over time it can become affected when subjected to stress, illness, injury, or difficult experiences. This can show up in many ways, including feeling overwhelmed, anxious, irritable, low in mood, or as issues with sleep, focus, pain or headaches.

Neurofeedback is a gentle, non invasive way of supporting your brain to repair, restore and rejuvenate itself, reducing adverse symptoms, so you can enjoy life better.

What Is ILF Neurofeedback?

What Is ILF Neurofeedback?

What Is ILF Neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback is a type of biofeedback that supports your brain activity. Our approach focuses on ILF training, or Infra-Low Frequency, which operates at the lowest end of the brainwave spectrum, addressing the underlying architecture of how your brain manages itself. Think optimising your nervous system (CNS);  how your brain communicates with your mind and body. It is a non-invasive technology that measures your brain activity (or nervous system) in real time and feeds that information back to you through visual, auditory, and tactile signals. This process helps your brain identify and correct unhelpful patterns on its own, repairing and strengthening its ability to fire better through your CNS.

Who Is It For?

What Is ILF Neurofeedback?

What Is ILF Neurofeedback?

ILF neurofeedback is suited for individuals who are committed to improving their mental health and wellbeing, who want to:

  • Reduce anxiety, low mood, or emotional reactivity/ irritability
  • Calm chronic stress, overwhelm, burnout, and quieten an overactive mind
  • Optimise cognitive function, attention, focus, peak performance and sharpen mental clarity
  • Tackle poor sleep, pain, headaches & sugar cravings
  • Improve symptoms of ADHD, Autism, PTSD, and the cognitive shifts associated with menopause and aging

How Does It Work?

What Is The Commitment?

After a 1.5-2 hour assessment and discussion of your goals, we start the neurofeedback, around 5-10 minutes. During an ILF neurofeedback session, 4 sensor are placed on your head using a washable adhesive paste. The sensors read your brain activity (a bit like a stethoscope reading your heart beats) and sends the information as a rhythm back to you via a screen with headphones, holding a device (for visual, auditory and tactile feedback). It often feels passive and relaxing. Appointments typically last around 30 to 45 minutes of which the neurofeedback is around 10-20 minutes. Many clients conveniently come during a lunch break or between meetings.

What Is The Commitment?

While neurofeedback therapy can have immediate effects, for lasting mental health improvement you need several appointments, around 20-30 sessions. The standard approach involves attending sessions once or twice a week for the first 20 sessions. Starting with 2-3 times a week is recommended to build momentum, but is not essential. Intensives, such as daily sessions, are also an option, but this requires an assessment as it may not be suitable for everyone. Assessments are £250, a single session costs £165, Starter package (assessment plus 3 sessions) for £600. We also offer packages of 10 sessions for £1550 and 20 for £300.
